  1. Symeon, I often have looked at the soil and rocks and wanted to make my own artists materials with pigment from them. It would make my art so much more mine in many ways. You have done it… congratulations. I would love to see what you can make from P.E.I soil.

    • Terry—Thanks for your kind words! The addition of local colours into my palette has enriched my art by informing my voice and by making myself more connected to the places I live and visit. Both have been incredibly enriching! I think PEI has great potential for such colour too … I wonder if there are any artist-in-residency programs on the island that would be supportive of such an exploration? —Chris
